Beacon Hill Touring Park Rules
These rules, which are designed to benefit all bona fide campers and caravanners, set out general standards of conduct and behaviour expected of them.
Payment can be made by cheque, credit/debit card or cash. Any receipt for payment should be retained throughout your stay.
Admission to the site implies a commitment to uphold the internal rules of the park. On arrival, campers should report to reception. Arrivals no later than 7pm ring the office mobile. Any conduct which constitutes anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. The management will not accept liability of any description for the person or property of any person using the park. Trading on the site is forbidden.
Accommodation on the site is given provided that all the rules and instructions herein are observed. Any person in breach of these rules may be asked to leave the site.
The Pitch must be kept clean and tidy, with the minimum of spare equipment stored neatly outside. Tents or caravans should be pitched only as illustrated in our Site Map guide, with caravan tow bars facing the roadways. We do not allow the use of high powered domestic electrical equipment or awning heaters.
Vehicles may be driven only directly between the site entrance and the pitch, and must never be driven above 5mph within the park confines. We regret we cannot accept commercial vehicles. It is essential to avoid leaving the engine running and to ensure minimum access during evening hours. Vehicles should be parked as close to the pitch as possible, but in any event, must not encroach on neighbouring pitches. We do not allow vehicle or caravan washing on site.
Sanitation & Refuse. Chemical toilets and waste water containers must be emptied only in designated waste disposal facilities. Refuse must be placed in the relevant receptacles provided. Ensure to use the recycle bins for paper, glass, cans and plastic.
Laundry. The washing of clothes and dishes is forbidden at field taps and washroom hand wash basins. Laundry and washing up facilities are available. Washing should be hung out to dry in a discreet manner. No drying lines.
Fires. The lighting of ground fires is strictly forbidden. Raised barbeque units are permitted, only with charcoal no wood at all and provided they are kept well away from trees, shrubs and other combustibles. Anyone found to be lighting ground fires will be asked to leave the site immediately, no refunds will be given.
Dogs must always be kept on a leash and under proper control. They must not be allowed to foul the park or become a nuisance and should only be exercised off the site. Any owner allowing their animal to become a nuisance or foul the site may be asked to leave. Animals are not allowed in any of the buildings.
Noise & Nuisance. Musical instruments, radios, CD players and similar appliances should be used considerately during the day and not at all after 10pm. All noise should be kept to an absolute minimum after 10.30pm Bad language will NOT be tolerated. Children must be under the supervision of their parents or guardians at all times, especially around the fishing lakes and play areas. Anyone found to be vandalising or thieving in any case will be asked to leave the park, no refunds will be given.
Games. Any games, particularly ball games, which might annoy or inconvenience others, are forbidden except in the areas provided.
Respect the site and its environment. Do not damage plants, trees, grass or drop litter.
Departure. You should leave the site by 11am. Ensure that the pitch is left as you found it on arrival, should you wish to extend your stay please check availability with reception at least 24 hours prior to your day of departure.
