BEACON HILL TOURING PARK RULES General. These Rules, which are designed to benefit all bona fide campers and caravanners, set out general standards of conduct and behaviour expected of them. Payment can be made by cheque, Credit/Debit Card, traveller’s cheque or cash. There is a 2% surcharge added for card payments. On arrival, campers should report to reception. Late arrivals should pitch quietly and with due consideration, and report to reception the following morning. Any receipt for payment should be retained throughout your stay. Admission to the site implies a commitment to uphold the internal rules of the site. Tents or caravans should be placed only as directed by the pitch guide, and may be transferred to other pitches if the guide thinks it is necessary to maintain good condition of the pitches. Trading on the site is forbidden except when authorised in writing by the management. The Pitch must be kept clean and tidy, with the minimum of spare equipment stored neatly outside. Use of Cars. Cars may be driven only directly between the site entrance and the pitch, and must never be driven above 5mph within the camp confines. It is essential to avoid leaving the engine running, or revving it unnecessarily and banging of car doors at night. Cars should be parked as close to the pitch as possible, but in any event must not encroach on neighbouring pitches. Cars must not be washed on site. Sanitation. Chemical toilets and waste water containers must be emptied only in designated waste disposal facilities. Refuse Disposal. Refuse must be placed in the receptacles provided. Laundry/Washing Up. The washing of clothes and dishes is forbidden at taps and hand wash basins. Laundry and washing up facilities are available. Washing should be hung out to dry in a discreet manor. No drying lines to exceed the width of the tent or caravan. Fires. The lighting of open fires is forbidden. Raised barbeque units are permitted, provided that these are kept well away from trees, shrubs and other combustibles. Dogs/Pets. Dogs must always be kept on a leash and other pets must be kept under proper control. They must not be allowed to foul the park or become a nuisance and should only be exercised off the site. Any owner allowing their animal to become a nuisance or foul the site, will be asked to leave. Animals are not allowed in any of the buildings. Noise/Nuisance. Musical instruments, radios, CD players and similar appliances should be used considerately during the day and not at all after 10pm. All noise should be kept to an absolute minimum after 11 pm. Bad language will NOT be tolerated. Children. Must be under the supervision of their parents or guardians at all times, especially around the swimming pool, fishing lakes am play areas. Games. Any games, particularly ball games, which might annoy or inconvenience others, are forbidden except in the areas provided. General Behaviour. Respect the site and its amenities. Do not damage plants, trees or grass. Do not dig holes for any purpose whatsoever. Do not intrude on your neighbour’s privacy or pitch. Do Not Drop Litter. Departure. Except for special weekend arrangements, you should leave the site by 11 am at the latest. Ensure that the pitch is left as you would wish to find it on arrival. Should you wish to extend your stay please check with reception. We hope you have enjoyed your holiday. Site Management. Accommodation on the site is given provided that all the rules and instructions given by the management are observed. Any person in breach of these rules may be asked to leave the site. The management reserves the right to refuse admission for any reason. The management will not accept liability of any description for the person or property of any person using the park. A £30 Behaviour Bond will be charged per head (refundable on departure) on all unaccompanied young people, single sex parties and other groups at management discretion. Due to repeat incidents of night-time antisocial behaviour by some some of our family groups pitched together, we have decided that we must levy a Noise Disturbance Bond at £50 per family pitched in groups (refundable on departure). Any conduct, which constitutes anti-social behaviour, will not be tolerated. PAYMENT IS ACCEPTED ON CONDITITON THAT OUR RULES AND BOOKING CONDITIONS ARE STRICTLY ADHERED TO. We reserve the right to ask you to leave the Park if the behaviour of any member of your party is unacceptable to us. In these circumstances Beacon Hill Touring Park shall not be under any liability to the persons involved and shall be discharged from any further performance of its obligations. Designated Security Officers shall have management control during night-time hours. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. SOME AMENITIES WILL BE LIMITED TO HIGH SEASON. |
